Bein: Finding Ways Where Beauty and Business can be connected.

Promoting the success of entrepreneurs in the independent beauty sector through information, education, community and resources.

Our History

What is BEIN Independent Beauty Institute?

The BEIN Independent Beauty Institute is an organization whose purpose is to support independent entrepreneurs and brands in the Brazilian beauty market. The institute was born out of the genuine desire of entrepreneurs, whose dream of fostering this market translated into the idea of building a safe space for sharing structured information, promoting connections, offering training, generating investment opportunities and uniting independent brands in the beauty market.

The way we consume and create continues to change...

The global beauty market is growing and Brazil is the 4th largest market in the world

According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the beauty market is one of the largest in the country, surpassing even the food market. In many cases, Brazilians spend more on beauty products and services than they do on food.

It's no longer just about the product, it's about storytelling, authenticity and, above all, who created it...

We are the 2nd country to launch the most products every year, behind only the United States.

So what's the challenge?

Innovating with authenticity while competing in a market populated by giants!

The independent brand movement operates in a market vacuum, organically and socially. Far beyond the product, the purpose, message and brand are more important. However, the challenge becomes greater when they start competing in the retail environment, side by side with large companies.

Did you know that:

In June 2022, the number of companies opened increased by 63.3% compared to June 2020.

The significant increase in the number of companies opening has highlighted a growing demand for professional support, specialized knowledge and structured information on the market. A favorable scenario for the development of new ventures. However, there is a notable lack of information and trends in the beauty sector to support and prepare independent brands.

The institute's proposal aims to fill this gap by offering an integrated set of services comprising expertise targeted at the segment in which they operate and the delivery of organized information, which is fundamental to the initial trajectory of these entrepreneurs. We aim to foster digital innovation and accelerated growth through solid, collaborative guidance.

The Cause

Mission
Vision

Empowering, strengthening and expanding the cosmetics sector produced by small brands, promoting sustainable development and the preservation of nature, generating income and moving the economy via Brazil's smallest entrepreneurs. Our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda guides us to foster the next generation of entrepreneurs, celebrate their achievements and build a thriving community of independent beauty companies in Brazil.

To be recognized as the main catalyst for growth and innovation in the cosmetics market, boosting entrepreneurship and promoting the sustainable production of beauty products by independent brands. We seek to be a reference in support, training and valuable connections, promoting a vibrant and inclusive ecosystem that values quality, diversity and sustainability in every aspect.
